The Victorian Government has released new guidelines for the calculation of how councils allocate the cost of waste management services to residents. While there will be no overall increase in your annual rates notice, the waste charge guidelines propose allocating a component of what is currently within the waste bin charge to the general residential rate.

Council needs to make a decision and would like your feedback on including the additional waste services within the bin charge (e.g., either on the rate notice as is current practice, or be included as part of the residential rate).

    Which would you prefer?

    (Maximum selection Limit : 1)
Include the additional waste services as part of the bin charge (current practice)
Remove additional waste service from the bin charge and include as part of the residential rate on the rate notice (proposed change)
