Christmas Decorations in Moorabool

In the lead up to Christmas 2020, Council’s Economic Development team installed four Christmas trees in the Bacchus Marsh, Ballan, Gordon and Blackwood town centres. 

Christmas signage was also installed on Council infrastructure, such as bins, park benches and trees (baubles and signage). Additionally, some town centres had musicians, roving Santas and Santa mailboxes. In Ballan, Council also collaborated with the Wombat Regional Arts Network to include art installations.

Council is seeking your feedback on Christmas decorations in 2020 and your expectations leading into Christmas 2021 and beyond.

Your feedback will be considered within logistical and budgetary factors and will help inform future Christmas decorations within the Shire.
