Council is committed to listening and adapting to our evolving and growing communities. We want everyone in our Shire to be healthy, connected and included, and to thrive in our diverse environments.
Working with our community partners, to ensure that much needed community services, connections and groups are able to thrive now and in future, is integral to achieve our healthy and connected vision.
Both the Community Vision and Council Plan, as well as a number of other strategic documents, outline Council’s commitments. This community service mapping and analysis project is part of achieving Council’s strategic commitments. Along with demographic profiling, the mapping will help to inform our Social and Community Planning attention and provide a focus for future advocacy.
The information provided will be collected and stored in accordance with Council's Privacy Policy. It will not be released to any third parties and the data collected will not be attributed to any individual, organisation or group. Key findings, observations, and themes will be consolidated, and a project report finalised at the completion of this project. Copies of this report will be provided to all survey participants, on request or stated agreement to continue to be involved in the conversation with Council in relation to this project.
Participant names and contact details, shall be recorded and used in association with the above stated purpose.
The survey approach represents our first step in our invitation for community groups in all shapes and sizes to become involved in the community services mapping process. Given the diversity and cross section of organisations and groups we hope to involve, we considered the single survey approach the most efficient. We expect that all questions may not be relevant to all survey participants, however we encourage responses to be as complete as possible.
A wide range of community services and groups throughout Moorabool. Whether you work with a large health, community, education, organisation, agency or institution, or convene the local book club, knitting circle or chess club, we’d like to hear from you!
