Lal Lal Falls Reserve Masterplan

Project Overview

Have your say on the future of Lal Lal Falls Reserve. Council is preparing a Master Plan to guide future improvements, protect the natural environment, and enhance visitor experiences. Your feedback will help shape priorities for the reserve’s future. Share your ideas and be part of planning the next chapter. Feedback can be provided until Sunday 12 April 2025.

The Master Plan for Lal Lal Falls Reserve is currently being developed to establish a clear long‑term vision and strategic framework that will guide future improvements, investment, and management of this important natural and cultural landscape. This planning work aims to protect and enhance the reserve’s natural environment, improve visitor experiences and facilities, support sustainable long‑term management, and reflect the aspirations of the community and key stakeholders.

The project is now in its development phase, with the community survey forming a key opportunity for residents, visitors, and stakeholders to share their views. The timing of any future improvements will be shaped by the final endorsed Master Plan and the availability of funding.

To ensure the Master Plan is robust and well‑informed, the process includes detailed technical assessments, covering environmental values, access, infrastructure needs, and cultural heritage, alongside community and stakeholder engagement. Opportunities and constraints are being reviewed to help identify priorities and staging, leading to a long‑term strategic framework that will be presented to Council for endorsement.
