Proposed Road Discontinuance – Settlement Road, Elaine

Moorabool Shire Council (Council) gives notice section 3 of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) that it intends to discontinue a portion of government road identified as Settlement Road, Elaine.

The government road, shown as Crown Allotment 2029, 2030 and 2031 in the map below, is a paper road situated to the south of properties, 20 Bowers Lane, Elaine (SPI 1\TP612273) and Bowers Lane, Elaine (SPI 14P\PP2206 and SPI 1\TP420374) and  north of properties, 5286 Midland Highway, Elaine (SPI 3~1\PP5270),  Pearsons Road, Elaine (SPI 5~7\PP5270) and 79 Elaine-Egerton Road, Elaine (SPI 1\TP423923).

Any person may make a submission on the proposal under Section 223 of the Act. The closing date for submissions is no earlier than 28 days after the publication of the notice.  Friday 11 November 2022 at 5.00pm will be the closing date for submissions.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
