Council is proposing to discontinue a section of Howards Road, Navigators, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1989.
The section of road affected is an unsealed government road reserve located between 144 Dunnstown-Yendon Road, Dunnstown and 89 Ditchfield Road North, Navigators.
The proposal has been submitted by Boral Quarries (Boral) and relates to the approved expansion of the Dunnstown Quarry. The road reserve is impacted by the quarry expansion, which has recently received planning approval from the Minister for Planning.
Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed road discontinuance before making a decision. Feedback can be provided until Sunday 19 September 2026.
