Project update
Council thanks everyone who contributed their feedback, which will play an important role in informing the decision-making process. Community feedback on the proposed closure of Howards Road provided valuable local insight and highlighted a range of considerations. Many residents expressed support for the proposal, while also raising matters relating to road safety, traffic movements, agricultural and heavy vehicle access, and travel efficiency.
All submissions have been reviewed and will be considered alongside technical assessments and planning requirements. A report outlining the consultation outcomes and recommendations will be presented to Council at a future meeting.
