Ballan Integrated Transport Strategy

FAQ

BITS is a long-term plan that guides how Ballan’s transport network will evolve to support population growth, improve accessibility, and reduce congestion.

The draft Strategy has been informed by traffic data from the 2023 Ballan Transport Study, community feedback from 2024, and projections for future residential growth areas.

Council will review all feedback and update the Strategy accordingly before presenting it to Councillors in early 2026 for adoption.

Get Involved

Attend one of the community drop-in sessions at the Ballan Library to Have Your Say in person. Printed materials and visual displays will be available, with opportunities to discuss key transport priorities. Community members are invited to review draft strategy maps, provide comments, and discuss key themes with council staff.
