Stage 1 Park Construction Commences May 2020

Council is excited to inform you that following resident engagement and feedback, construction of Stage 1 of Beresford Crescent Reserve have begun. You may already be aware of some footpath construction currently occurring. It is hoped that all stage 1 works will be completed by mid-June, weather depending.

The playground and stage 1 layout design documents can be viewed under the 'documents' section on this page. Please not that the trees/shrubs presented in this plan will not be implemented in Stage 1.

Thank you to those who provided their feedback and we look forward to officially celebrating the park upon completion.

Project Overview

Council is proposing to upgrade Beresford Crescent Reserve and we would like to know your ideas.

Quality open space is a priority for our community and this park upgrade will create a better space for everyone to enjoy.

We are exploring upgrade options now because the existing park and playground is approaching the end of its lifespan. Without an upgrade, it will become unsuitable for community use

We are committed to retaining a playground in this space.

Community feedback will help us find the right mix of play equipment (e.g. swings, slides, sandpits) and other features (e.g. seating, shade, drinking fountains, basketball/netball court) for the site.

The overall 'footprint' of the site cannot change as it is bordered by houses
