September - October 2026
Council is developing a new Positive Ageing Plan to guide how it supports older people to live well, remain connected and participate in community life.
The Plan will identify priorities and actions across areas such as social connection, access to information and services, transport, accessible places, housing, safety, respect and opportunities to contribute.
We want to hear from older people, families, carers, service providers, community organisations and the wider community about what is working well, the challenges older people experience and what Council should prioritise.
Feedback from this initial consultation will inform the draft Positive Ageing Plan. The community will then have another opportunity to review and comment on the draft before the final Plan is presented to Council for adoption.
To have your say, complete the survey below by Sunday 18 October.
