Exhibition of Moorabool Planning Scheme Amendment C103moor– Hopetoun Park North

Project Overview

Council has prepared Amendment C103moor to the Moorabool Planning scheme, at the request of Bacchus Marsh Property Group Pty Ltd (BMPG). This Amendment facilitates the future subdivision and residential development of Land in Hopetoun Park North

The amendment was on public exhibition from 21 March to 4 May 2025 and 32 submissions were received. At the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 2 July 2025, Council resolved to request the Minister for Planning appoint and independent Planning Panle to consider the amendment and all submissions received.

A Planning Panel hearing was held from 29 September to 3 October 2025 where submissions to Amendment C103 Hopetoun Park North were head.

The report of the independent Planning Panel appointed to consider the amendment and submissions has now been released and can be viewed in the Project Document Library.
At the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 4 March 2026,Council considered the findings of the Panel report and it was resolved to adopt the Amendment and submit it to the Minister for Planning for approval.
